Note: It's night and there is only one lamp.
A maximum of two persons can cross at one time, and they must have the lamp with them. Each person walks at a different speed: 1sec, 3sec, 6sec, 8sec, 12sec.
A pair must walk together at the rate of the slower person.
The lamp glows enough for 30 sec only.

Perpetual Motion, Gravity and Kinetics:

Perpetual motion: (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
The term perpetual motion, taken literally, refers to movement that goes on forever. This is possible in the current theoretical understanding of physics as in Newton's First Law of Motion.

However, perpetual motion usually refers to a device or system that delivers more energy than is put into it. Milk man with no measureing jar.

A milk man goes to one of the houses he gives milk to everyday. He suddenly realizes that he has forgotten his measuring jar.

He has a 10 liters can which is full with milk and two empty cans of 7 liters and 3 liters.

He needs to give 5 liters of milk in two different houses. How will he distribute the available 10 liter milk equally among the two houses?

Note: This puzzle becomes interesting when calculated mentally without using pen and paper. Try not using pen and paper.

A stereogram is a two-dimensional picture that has a 3-D image hidden in it. The hidden image is not on the surface of the monitor screen. To find the hidden image you must focus you eyes through the screen. Pretend that you are looking through the monitor to the distant background. This causes you to switch from "near point" to "far point" vision and will allow the hidden image to come into view.

• Enlarge the image. Put your face close to the screen. Pretend to look through the monitor.
• Now, very slowly move back from the screen and as you do so the image will come into view.
• This may take several attempts. (In simple, try look through the image.)
